Shipping & Return Policy
1. Delivery & Shipping
- Orders are shipped via external shipping partners. Delivery times are indicative and depend on products, production and shipping processes.
- Griet Bertels is not responsible for delays caused by third parties.
- Your order will be carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Depending on the product, it will be shipped in a box, rolled up, or in a flat envelope.
Shipping Costs
- Belgium: €9.00
- EU + UK: €15.00
- Free shipping for orders over €150.00.
- For shipments outside EU & UK, please contact us via email.
2. Processing Time
- All print-on-demand and custom-made orders are produced after purchase, meaning processing times may vary.
- The estimated delivery time for each product is listed on the website. This is an indication, not a guarantee.
- We will do our best to ship your order as soon as possible and keep you informed of its progress.
3. Loss or Damage
We take great care in packaging your order, but if something goes wrong during shipping:
- If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours at info@grietbertels.com with clear photos of the damage (both packaging and artwork). We will work with you to find a solution.
- If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery time, please reach out so we can investigate and assist.
- The risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer once the package has been handed over to the shipping provider. However, we will always do our best to help resolve any issues.
4. Return Policy
Custom-Made & Print-on-Demand Products
- Returns or exchanges are not possible for print-on-demand or custom-made works, in accordance with article VI.53, 3° of the Belgian Economic Law Code.
- If a custom-made or print-on-demand product arrives damaged, report this within 48 hours with photos, and we will work on a suitable solution.
Original Artworks
- A 14-day return policy applies to original artworks (excluding custom-made orders).
- If you wish to return an original artwork, contact info@grietbertels.com within 14 days of receipt, stating your order details and reason for return.
We will contact you to arrange the return of the artwork

Return conditions:
- The artwork must be returned undamaged and in its original packaging.
- Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense. Hand-delivery is also an option.
- Refunds are issued only if the artwork is received in perfect condition.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
5. Customer Responsibility
- Ensure that your shipping address is correct before placing your order. We cannot take responsibility for delays or lost packages due to incorrect addresses.
